Well... This is a recurrent problem. I can't keep the water clear no mater what. Ammonia levels are ok.

I can barely see the fishes inside.

The quarantine is under cupramine at the moment.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I would do a 50% or greater water change and put the tank in blackout conditions for a few days.

Water changes does not make a huge impact 2 days later its all over again.

Is the tank in direct sunlight? Are you using tap water? It’s a combination of too much light and nutrients causing an algae bloom. Reduce both and do a water change, that should solve the problem.

What kind of filtration / air exchange? That one fish is laying on the bottom, are you sure it's okay?

Yes... There is a part of the day where sun can hit the tank. But I don't think it's enough because it's only a couple of hours in the morning.

I have a cascade filter and a wavemaker in the tank to move water around.

The fish in the bottom its a jawfish. It's not ok I have extreme difficulty to get it to eat, even before this happened. I have tried everything I can. I don't know if it will make it.

Looks like a blue spotted jawfish? If so they are difficult fish. They need rock rubble to build a burrow in order to feel safe.

As for your green tank, I would cover the windows letting in the sun(or otherwise shade the tank). A couple hours a day could cause big problems, ime.

Yes it is. Sadly I can't put rocks or sand in the tank it would defeat the purpose.

Yeah looks like an algae bloom from light and nutrients. Fish QT tanks dont need any light so put it in an area where it will get no direct sunlight. Are you mixing your saltwater using 0 ppm RODI? A little LR or so thing like Siporax or Marine Pure for bacterial filteration and some method to move water for flow and gas exchange. A small powerhead, HOB filter or air bubble sponge filter all work. A good UV would be a bood idea and go along way on a QT tank but personally would be my last choice, just not big on UV.
