So i finally set up a quarantine tank.
Its a 10GAL tank with a 50w heater
Small HOB filter
Air stone
A little bit of pvc for hiding places
Some of those marble things on the bottom for BB to cling
Can anyone think of anything else i might be missing?
But mainly im curious to know if its alright to leave the lights off when the tank is sitting idle.

Some kind of light would be good so room lights don't startle the fish. any small light will do. If there's no animals yet no need for light.
definitely put a lid on it even if its just a piece of egg crate .
