Quarantine Tank over taken by Pests.

Hey all, I have has a quarantine system ho for a month and have put two clowns in due to what was believe to be Marine Velvet. They are now cured and have been for over two weeks. Treatment included .6 concentration of Cupramine( copper treatment) and bi-daily heavy feedings of new life spectrum Thera plus soaked in Kent marine garlic. However I have noticed little "white bugs" on the glass. So small the camera cannot detect them but looking closely they seem to move. They almost look like Copepods but I am far from believing that is a reality because one: copper two: new tank and three: no place for them to find refuge( such as sand or macro algae). Although the camera cannot detect these pests other than tiny white dots I have included pictures:

Have you stripped the copper from the system yet? How long has the copper been out of the system?

Copper treatment is still maintained at .6 PPM. Will soon be stripped and the fish will be observed for two weeks after to ensure they are indeed cured. However not until I figure out what the bugs are

Pods are pretty tough. I've seen them survive in copper before. Is your Cu level still at 0.6 or have you already dropped it?

Not sure how they would've got in the QT, started from fresh RODI and new Salt. Never transferred anything over form the display besides the Fish( obviously). Cu is still .6 will be dropping soon

It only takes one or two. You might have snagged a couple from the display with the fish and they started multiplying. It can happen It's not a bad thing and the clowns will probably be snacking on them.

Wow, shocked they can survive copper. The clowns certainly snacked on them while in the display. They must be happy to be reminded of home.

If the pods originated from the DT it is a bad thing because that means cross contamination has taken place. I'm assuming the OP is going fallow in the DT for velvet. Might be wise to trace back your steps and think on how this could have happened. If pods got introduced from the DT (IF that's how it happened), you could reintroduce velvet once the copper level gets lowered.

The only way they got transferred is if I caught one or two in the net. However, nothing has been used in both tanks since, I have separate equipment and cleaning utensils and such. Once the Fish are ready to be introduced to the new system a lot of care will be taken place to not transfer anything even though the QT should be free of anything harmful. Or at least it better be
