Quarantine tank setup

Hi,
I have a 12 g nano I have had running for a few years now that I want to make into a qt tank. I would like to remove everything & clean it out. I will not be adding more sand or rock. My question is do I need to let it cycle again? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I think you might have placed this in the wrong forum mu friend.
What you can do is report your own post as the MOD's will get a notification and ask them to move it to the right forum as you will get plenty of ppl to chime in and I might be one of them
