Quarantine tank ???

I want to set up a quarantine tank. I hate to say it, but I have never had one before. I have a 120 gallon tank so I'm wondering what size quarantine tank would be appropriate. Also, what equipment is required for this type of tank.

Thank you. I think I’m going to do a 29 gallon.

29 is likely best, I use 20L most often. Those links above are great. Simple, no substrate or rocks, pvc fittings L's T's and tubes for cover, sponge filter or air stones and a heater. Also a cover helps for evaporation and to prevent aerosol transmission if your tank has to be closer.

I just set up a QT tank this past week. I used a 20 gal tall tank, hob filter, heater, led light hood, thermometer, and small powerhead. I also added some small decorations to give the fish a place to hide.
