I have a canister filter sitting around should I use it on my qt tank. If so what should I put inside it.

You can. Must be careful about what you put in because if you put in any type of carbon filter I️t will often defeat the purpose of qt bc I️t takes out the medicine used so I’m not too familiar with them but I’d assume bio balls or blocks or Poly filter sheets
