Hey so I am about to set up my coral QT tank and I need to beef up my cleanup crew - how’s everyone’s experience being with quarantining snails in a ‘clean’ QT tank - do they require some supplement feeding or will they just go to town on any algae that pops up.

Also do we need to QT starfish - mainly for Protozoa.

Thanks !

Personally I never qt snails but I also don’t have clams that could be harmed by any pyramid snails. Worst thing I ever found was a couple vermitid I had to break off.

More so for Ich / velvet tomonts - just want to hold them in there for 4-6 weeks

Anyone do this with their inverts?
