I'm currently establishing inhabitents in my new 150g mixed reef. Currently I have 4 fish in the DT with 3 coming out of quarentine tomorrow. Once I finish with fish the next group will be some inverts followed by soft corals & then finally stony. Is it necessary to quarentine inverts before adding them in the DT? If so, what protocols do people use? I've heard that because inverts live in & on the sandbed that quarentine is not necessary as that don't carry parasites & the kinds of things we worry about with fish & corals ...
