ok so iv had all my fish in quarintine for 7 weeks now because of ick and have been treating them with copper, most of them, havnt had any signs of ick for any of that time the only ones with ick are a clown fish with one spot and a watchmen goby. should i leave all the fish in quarintine or could i take the ones without ick into the DT, thanks

7 weeks in a copper treatment and ick is still present, are you sure your keeping the copper levels at a theraputic level? Are you sure it's ick? IMO I would not move anything out of the QT until EVERYTHING is ick free for at least 4-6 weeks.

+1. Don't move any of the fish until none of them show signs of ich. What levels are you keeping your copper at?

i dont have a test kit iv just been adding the amount coppersafe says, and it hasnt been 7 weeks of straight copper it was hypo for a bit but i use a hydrometer not a refractometer yet and it wasnt accurate enough and the copper seems to be working because it was worse before, but ill take ur advice for leavin them in, thanks

I prefer Cupermine as opposed to copper safe. Make sure you display has been fishless for atleast 8 weeks and all fish are ich free. Here is a little reading on Ich for you. Its important to understand the life cycle. Click here

iv read lots about ick and i made sure i knew when it was exactly 8 weeks from when i took them out, why do you prefer cupermine to coppersafe? iv actually looked for it but my lfs only carries coppersafe.

Cupermine IMO is a lot easier on the fish.
