I have an Orbit 20 Kreisel-style jellyfish tank. I've done a fishless cycle and the tank is cycling nicely. So, here's the question: my ammonia is at 0, nitrite at o, Nitrate under 5ppm. I won't be able to add the critters for several days. Do I need to feed the bacteria some ammonia during the interim so they have something to eat, or will they be ok for several days with a "clean" tank. Thanks for your help.

The population may back down without an Amonia source.
