My Queen Angel's lower lip looks like it has a fever blister on it. Has anybody got any idea what this is and how to treat it? Thanks

Any chance he's been eating bristle worms in your tank? Or something that stings? Post pics if you can.

This Queen is five inches long. The "fever blister" is about the size of a BB pellet and red in color. No chance for bristle worms. Tried for pictures but the fish stays on the move.

It could be a bacterial infection. Hard to say without seeing a pic. I would at least start soaking his food with vitamin supplements (exs. Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem). This will give the immune system a boost to help deal with whatever's going on.
