Got out the handheld usb "microscope" tonight to investigate some tiny dots on the front glass. Was happy to see a lotta copepods (the one that looks like "Plankton" from Spongebob), but I'm curious what these little spiral snails with the spaghetti tentacles are. Sorry about the bad focus - like I said, handheld.

Would also like to know what this might be.

I couldn't tell ya what magnification. The Amazon ad says "200x" but... This was right on the front glass and scope was cranked about as close as it'll go.

Maybe a diatom. Some have a football type shape with a line running down the middle length.
