I started dosing 2 part and have been using Salifert Mag test kit and both Hanna for Ca and Alk.
My Alk for the past week has been 10.3-11 and calcium has been 400-420. Mg at 1250-1300.
My tank consumes about 0.7 dkh in a 24 hr period and I dose about 5 ml of both Ca and Al to bring it back to 11. I have a total tank volume 80g. Feel like 5ml is too low. I started off with 20 ml and had to dial it in. I have 20 frag plugs with a decent hammer colony and a palm size anemone. I haven't been able to do a 24 hr Ca consumption test yet. Figured I should dial my Alk first.
Is my calcium level too low? Should I dose more of calcium? Coral and anemone seem to be doing well. I also dose Red Sea energy A and B.
