Ok so after my package got delayed and arrive Monday instead of Friday I have accounted for what I know is dead.
I’m not sure though about a green monti I got. The largest piece bag leaked and it was out of water for awhile I’m sure. The smaller frags I received in separate packages were all in water.

I temp acclimated for a half hour. Pulled everything out rinsed in tank water and placed in tank. I turned my lights down to acclimation mode for the next 8 days to give everything time to recuperate.

but how do I know if this monti is ok?
Some of the smaller pieces were slimy. None of them are that green but they definitely are not white.

should I dip them in 48 hours?
What to dip in?
How long till I know if anything’s alive?

I’m giving all the zoas that came with that shipment atleast 48 hours before I give them all an iodine dip. Should I dip the monti in that as well?
So many questions and your help is appreciated

I would dip them fo sho when you go to dip the other corals. I’d say to call it when they start to get white. It should be alive and okay as long as it’s got some color in it. Even with bleached spots.

So they all have some color so I guess as of now they are all ok (all the pieces of monti)

Good good keep us posted man hope they make it okay and grow
Came home and noticed most of the monti looked bleached. Took a piece out that still had some color used a turkey baster to it and all of what looked like color blew away. So I removed all the pieces of monti

Dang man, sorry about ur montis:/ at least the zoas are doing alright hopefully u can get a refund on some of them!!

The seller is a good friend! And don’t worry we worked stuff out. This is FedExs fault! And we’ve already made a claim!
