Question about acans

The only acan I have is really starting to perk up after I started target feeding it (thanks Chris). I also moved it to my sand bed but now every day it gets sand all over it or mounded up around it. My dragon goby drops sand on EVERYTHING. What do you guys do with your acans? 99% of the pictures I see of them online they are on the sand bed. I can't be the only one with this issue.

When I had a diamond goby he did the same thing. I mounted my acans on some large flat plugs so they were at least elevated a few inches off the sand bed.

Cut a piece of 2-3" PVC about an inch thick. Pour some aragonite sand into it and then squeeze super glue(not gel) onto it. It will seep down and then harden. Now you have a nice round frag disk to mount the acans to.

That's a very good idea. I did find a small rock last night to set it on and get it up a bit but I like the flat surface of this much better. Thanks
