So I currently have a redsea Reefled 90 paired with a aquatic life t5 hybrid. im happy with the results but always looking to improve. i loved AI prior to the HD models. And just wanted to know if anyone is able to achieve that purple/blue spectrum look with the new 16hds. looking to maybe replace my RL90 with 2 primes if this is a possibility. pics would be appreciated. thanks.

What is “that purple/blue spectrum”? Seems subjective. Here’s my 20g with a 16HD over top. This is not too long before lights out. Will soon be upgrading to the NP K7 V3 by @noopsyche !

yeah i guess its hard to explain and very subjective as some people wont see the spectrum the same as the last. but with the old hydra 26s prior to HD. you would just set the leds to a certain percentage on the controller and a ramp up and down time. they gave an output that favored a purple color over a blue.

looks like the original 26s didnt have the cool blue. it was royal blue and deep blue, along with violet and UV.
