This stuff is amazing... I have seen numerous tanks with very high phosphate levels that have dosed this stuff and the phosphate is unmeasureable...Does anyone know how this stuff works and where does the phosphate go. Any long term effects???? It just seems to good to be true....

Thanks

IT USUALLY IS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. MOST PHOSPHATE CONTROLLERS CONTAINS ALUMINUM, WHICH IN A LONG TERM , WILL EAT AWAY YOUR LPS AND SPS.

Thanks for the reply Reef-Lover ....Aluminum is not good:stop: ...Anyone else have any input....

I have contacted the owner of Blue Life and have given him the link to this thread. Let's see if anything comes of it. I would also like to hear.

Thanks zoanuts, cannot wait for him/her to fill us in.......

afaik, it bond with the phosphate and settles on the bottom, so it stays in your system. unless you have a very large tank i wouldn't bother with it, chaeto and gfo are likely better options.

The individual that owns blue life, SPS and blue-vet is the same person and is located in LA. Great guy. I will try and call him on Monday.
