Has anyone kept a bta in a low nutrient tank? My numbers are
1.026
Cal 440-460
Mg 12-1300
Alk 8.8-9.0
Nitrate 0
Po4 .01hard to see color on red sea test

I want to get a black widow bta but wanted some opinions first. I'm not one to jump in to a coral and kill them if my tank isn't good for it.

Anemones like "dirtier" water, but I've seen some sps set ups where they do fine (reef builders had an awesome video a few weeks ago with an sps+anemone dominant tank).

I could be wrong, but as long as they capture some sort of food and can break it down effectively they will be fine (they can get nitrates from their food).
