Question about buying a tank

Hello I was wondering what you guys think about buying this tank with a chip in it I have add a picture of it any help with this decision I would appreciate it.

I wouldn't even mess with it there are to many tanks out there for sale to get into a ticking time bomb!!!

I agreed with the other two. Don't buy it. You do not want saltwater fill your floor down the road. The water pressure pushing on the wall will eventually make the worst case scenario comes true.

Almost impossible to tell the severity of a crack from a picture.

Two considerations:

If this tank leaks, home much damage will it do to your home?

Will worrying about this crack/chip cause you to lose sleep?

The answers to these questions should help you decide.

I wouldn't use it for anything but a temporary quarantine tank.

Take a look at the left side of that photo; it looks like there's some incursion in the seams, too. Walk away!
