Used chemi clean for the first time last night for cyano. It’s been 24 hours and WOW.

will definitely use this stuff again. All the cyano is essentially gone.
Tomorrow I’ll do a 20% water change and add carbon.

Is there anything I can do to try and ward off any returning cyano? BRS recommends dosing microbacter 7 or something of that sort.

anybody have any suggestions for post chemi clean success?

I haven’t personally battled cyano but I know that it cannot grow in high flow areas, maybe reposition your power heads to reduce dead spots
