Question about chemiclean

Ok so I dose the tank at about 630 this morning before I went to work. But in my half asleep state I forgot to remove the carbon. Do I need to add more? I removed the carbon like 12hrs after putting the stuff in

Just continue running it as is for now. If it was affected by the carbon, then it just won't work as well. But if you add more, it could overdose the tank and cause problems.

I don’t have it on hand but I believe it states on the package that carbon can be left in the system

Everything I’ve read says remove it. I’m hoping it still works. Atleast I didn’t leave it in the entire time

Chemiclean is erythromycin (see: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/whats-in-chemiclean.348538/) and will be efficiently removed by carbon (as described in this patent for purification of erythromycin, see: https://patents.google.com/patent/US2653899A/en). You'll probably have to re-dose. If you are worried about overdosing, I'd put in carbon for a day, then remove and add a fresh dose of chemiclen.
