Question about clowns

So I had these two clowns and the one was mean to the other for months upon months. Found out that sense it was a Blood orange clown she has half "Maroon" in her.. anyways I moved her to another tank by herself. I got another clown to try to pair with the other clown and the new one is dominant. Its been about a month.. does that mean I have 2 female clowns then? Not really sure how long It takes to switch genders

It sounds like the clown thats been in the tank is a male since it was not dominant. The new one is dominant over your old male.

This means one of 3 things is the case: 1. its either a larger male that will turn female 2. it turned female in your tank 3. when you put it in it was already female.

Chances are you have a male and a female, if not you will soon.

Clownfish are demons lol. So out of curiosity what happens if you put two females in the same tank? A brawl to the death?

They cant go from female to male so it would get real ugly real fast. Unless its a giant tank with room for 2 demon territories.

Yeah I wasn't aware the blood orange was half maroon. The clowns that are together now are both ocellaris. These things are the biggest pain though lol why are they so mean hahah
