I had a question because when I was trying to get a custom aquarium the and a background it was about $500 and then it came to a filtration section and I selected default and then 12 and it said no filtration so I thought I was good and then it added on $699.99 for filtration and now I’m confused. Maybe I’ll try selecting different filtration numbers.

There are a few places you can get quotes from. I recommend checking GlassCages. Good people. Sometimes very helpful to actually speak to someone. You’ll find you’ll have more questions as you put serous thought to it. Good luck!

do shop around here are some site for you check out:

glass cages
SCA aquariums
fiji cube
planet aquariums

the above have a wide selection of tank to choose from + they do custom work if you need it to be custom size. you will find 99% of the time get a "standard" size tank will be cheaper than the custom tho.

of course there are lot more custom tank manufactures out there.

I checkout there custom aquariums and they seemed pricey?

I say give them a call.

I played around with their custom tank wizard for a bit before I ordered my tank. I found a local builder who build tanks and I went with since I wouldn’t have to deal with the extra price and hassle of freight delivery.

An LFS not too far from me has their store filled with tanks from glass cages. They look to be pretty decent in person. I don’t think they’d be a bad choice either.

If I wouldn’t have found the local guy, Custom Aquariums would have gotten my business.
