Hello,
I have a 140G SPS tank thats been set up now for about 3-4 months. Everything has been going smoothly for the last month after a rocky start.
I did an ICP test last week. Everything looks pretty good except my calcium and Potassium were a little low (Ca: 428 mg/L, K: 385 mg/L). The results recommend to
Ca: We have detected a lack of calcium.
A calcium dosage may have the following advantages for your aquarium:
- Calcium is essential for calcification
- Important for the development of healthy coral skeleton
- A lack of calcium can have very bad effects on the aquarium, please act quickly to restore.
To restore the natural value, they refer to our recommended dosage.
Ca: We recommend the corrective dosage of 51.72 ml for 1 day.
Now is that recommending a separate Calcium source? I am pretty sure that Triton Core7 solution number 2 is mostly Calcium. Can I not simply add more of solution 2 via the doser one time?
The potassium I will buy and dose as recommended.
