Hello all, so I'm trying to debate which overflow to go with (eshopps eclipse L, reef savvy, or a modular marine). I like the eclipse for the price, and the ghost for the removable weir teeth and covers for both boxes, but I am concerned that on both of these models with the exterior box mounting lower (somewhere around 1-2") than the internal box that there will always be a splashing water noise. The modular marine model rear box is notched so it sits at the same height and also has a removable weir (the whole thing not just the teeth. Any experiences with any 3 to relate regarding noise? I should say, I know nothing is DEAD silent, but I am looking for as quiet as physically possible lol

I got the ghost overflow and the fact it is lower does not increase noise as you can adjust the water height to your liking in the external box. With an emergency drain you really have no issues. I can run my vectra at 80% with the 2 X1" drain without the emergency being used. If I had a smaller tank I'd consider the Eshops but any tank over 3 feet long id recommend the ghost overflow. I love the low profile of the overflow box and the only thing I hear is the water trickling over the overflow weirs when I have circulation pumps in different modes (though this is more soothing sound) Once you adjust the valve to get a full siphon you can not hear the water going to the sump. If it was not for my loud skimmer id have a very quiet tank!
