Question about flow for 90 gallon

I have a question about flow. I have an icecap gyre 3k which pushes 3,000 gph on my 90 gallon. I feel like it pushes too much down(the sand below it is all pushed away and I can see the glass) and doesn’t push enough forward. If I sold it for $120, what could I buy instead?

Have you tried adjusting them to point upwards more? I have the same pump on a 90g and don’t have issues with it moving sand.

Can you explain to me how? I got it second hand and it doesn’t have any instructions

The barrels turn, they’re pretty hard to move. I have to take mine out to adjust them. One hand on the middle and the other to turn the barrel. turn the flow way down when you plug it back in and adjust as needed.

Powers been out since Wednesday all fish are doing well I have some battery bubblers but prob gonna loose my hammer and frogspawn due to temp
