I have a jbj 30 rimless as I posted in this thread and I am thinking about upgrading my set up to a 90 gallon with 40 breeder sump and would like to flip my 30 rimless into a frag tank. Is this possible or what do I need to do to make this work.

Alright... I thought I would ask cause I was told that my jbj rimless would not work as a frag tank cause of the shape. Which personal I find that hard to believe however I'm just starting saltwater.

I would if I could house the tracks in the same room. However not possible at this time. Limited on space at the moment.

Let me make sure I got this. On my jbj aio 30 rimless I will need a sump under it even though I have I little over flow system on the back of the tank.

+1 on the combo with new setup.
Better DT due to larger volume and as plus a fragtank.

I think I should of named this thread as 90 gallon upgrade build.

Anyways yes even though I am just starting out in saltwater. I find myself wanting bigger stuff plus easier to maintain and I can have a 40 gallon breeder sump. There is better equipment and more room to work with. Down side more expensive. This upgrade will cost $2000 or more.
