Question about FW dip on live rock

I have a rather large bobbit and if I FW dip the rock am I losing my benificial bacteria? Its the largest rock in my tank and everything is so happy atm im worried it will kill all my goodies on the rock and ill have a cycle. Still new and this is my first bobbit worm, traps failed as hes just too big theres not a bottle long enough to trap him he just goes in halfway and its enough to reach the bait so I fear the dip is my only option. Should I expect a small cycle after? Thanks in advance for any help

You may kill some of the bacteria, depending on the time of the dip.

Do you need to dip all the rock looking for it, or can you determine one rock to dip?

Just the one rock on the left, im positive hes in that one its just one big rock bout the size of my head

I would guess that you will not get a problematic cycle, even if you take that rock out and expose it to fresh water to flush out a worm.

Just return it as soon as the worm is out (which hopefully happens).
