hello
I have a question for the DIY enthusiasts
I would like to know if it is possible to connect an icecap battery back up on a pump like AI nero or a more basic pump like jebao.
I have been searching a bit, and it seems to be possible, but I would like to know if there are some who have done it, and if so, a single pump, holds how long on the battery

thanks

I use it on my Mightyjet and it works perfectly. If I remember correctly, you can’t just put a regular wall plug in, it needs a certain connector. So I doubt a simple plug-in pump could work.

I am horrible at electronics though, so I’m sure someone else can chime in that is much more helpful than me.

assuming you can match the plug input a 24v pump should technically run, tho slower (power = voltage x current or Watts = volts x amps). If you look at the draw rating you'll see at 12v you'll provide only about half what it needs. It'll still work in theory tho. just not optimally. For back up purposes probably good enough.
