Your tank will have to run fishless for 76 days to eliminate the ich. If there is a fish, there is a food source and the ich lifecycle can continue.
I would recommend to remove the tang to a quarantine tank, if you are sure it was ich you can treat with tank transfer method. If it is possible it was velvet, which usually is the culprit in tank wipeouts, then copper or CP should be used to treat the tang for 30 days.
After treatment the tang can just hang out in quarantine until the fallow period passes.

+1 The YT likely has acquired immunity, but may still be a carrier capable of infecting other (nonimmune) fish.

X3? 4? --- I couldn't have said it better

If you put another fish in there and he gets ich. Humblefish will perform Mouth to Mouth on it for free. He is very good at treating ich. :p
