question about kessil h80 fuge light setting

SO I just picked up the kessil h80 for my fuge. I have a kessil controller as well. was wondering what settings to use for it. should I use a ramp up/down cycle like my DT lights or just have them pop on at 100% power and color for the 12 hour cycle?

I have that light and it works great growing Chaeto.

I don't use a controller, just a timer to turn it on and off opposite the DT lighting.

What intensity and color do you run it on

There is a dial on top of the light. Turn the knob to "grow" which is red lighting.

The best settings I've found were to run it at 100% intensity on the grow setting. Grow blends the perfect spectrum of red and blue for chlorophyll A and B in the macro algae
