Hello there guys! How are you!?
I already posted this on the page about my tank, but I dont know if that was the right forum to put this.
Today I went to my local fish store and I gave them a sample of my water and they told me that everything was nice! So I think that tomorrow I will be adding live stock to the aquarium!
Im planning to start with a pair of ocellaris, and im wondering, should I add too the small animals? (I mean copepods and stuff, I am sorry, english isnt my first lenguage), and how should I fed those ocellaris?
I have read that you have to wait after you put fishes so your tank matures... Does this work with corals aswell? should I wait a bit for adding corals?
I have another question aswell. I would like to put my lights to work, and I was thinking... how should I program them? I usually arrive hom at 18:00/19:00, so I was thinking in this schedule:
(The first and second porcentages are blue lights and the third one is the white light)
02:01-16:00 0% 0% 0%
16:01-17:00 50% 50% 25%
17:01-19:00 75% 75% 40%
19:01-22:00 100% 100% 50%
22:01-24:00 75% 75% 40%
24:01-02:00 50% 50% 25%

Is this schedule okay? should I change anything?
As always, thank you in advance guys for your time and patience!!

Hi there,
I feed my clowns frozen mysis shrimp. They love it. Just defrost it in a container with your tank water.
I would probably wait for your tank to mature for a few months before adding corals. Make sure you get decent reef lights when you do
As for the lighting question my lights have an automatic day/night cycle so i wouldn’t know what to suggest there.
Kind regards

Alright!! Thank you so much!!

I agree with waiting on adding coral. I also feed frozen foods brine and mysis shrimp, a omnivore food, and zoo plankton. I add pods twice a year and dose phytoplankton to feed them. Mine get eatin quickly! How this helps

You can cultivate copepods on their own. Iv never bought them but have loads in my refugium. As long as you don’t have a UV steriliser they won’t die off
Alright thank you! But the thing is... how do I do that? My tank has no sump, so I have no place for a refugium
