Question about lights I have seen on craigslist

So I have contacted someone on CL that is selling a module of 55 3w brightwell LEDs with 25 10k white and 30 blue lights in it. They have seperate power cables to control each color. They are not dimmable. He is offering them for 170 each module. Just wanted to run this by everyone and see if it was a good deal as I have only ever seen Cree being the LED of choice. Thanks!

Brightwell makes LEDs? Guess I'll have to google it.

I think he means bridgelux...I have a couple diff fixtures using bridgelux leds. I like them all except for one and they all grow corals.

I would prefer something dimable but at $170, it may be worth a try

I agree I would tend to look at something that is dimmable.

Haha yeah Bridgelux... Sorry I was researching brightwell when I was posting... so I confused the two in my typing... sorry :roll:
