Is it necessary to have light in the fish tank?
We have attached a small tubelight (white) on the roof surface of tank but sometimes I think its too much light and that might damage the vision of fish...even mine!
And what about the fishes that grows big that we think they don't belong in th tank or the tank is small? How many time do we have to change the water of tank...twice in a month?

In fish only tanks lighting is more for aesthetics and viewing than a necessity. Though i highly recommend one since we do like to view our fish all you really need is one of those cheap led lights. When selecting fish liveaquaria.com will list in the description the recommended tank size for the fish. That recommendation is a minimum size tank. while I have seen people stray from those recommendations with success I would recommend someone new to the hobby to follow it. Yes, some fish start out small but grow very big quickly so keep that in mind when making a selection. Unless you have a place to put the fish when it gets to big (hopefully a bigger tank) avoid them. Also water changes are based on bioload and current filtration methods. Many people do a 10% water change weekly. You can just base your need on test results of the water.
