I have gotten 3 Monti frags from a friend (Tan, Blue, Green). I’ve had them for about a week and the green/blue seem to be fine but the tan one has started to peel away it looks like? I’m not sure what’s going on. Here are my parameters as of this morning:
Salinity: 1.027
Calcium 500
Magnesium:1230
Phos:.38
Alkalinity:9.8

I’ve got a couple other hardier coral (GSP/Xenia/Zoas) that are all doing okay so just trying to figure out what the issue here is. Is it because my phosphate is above .2?

Looks fine it might be a little stressed from fragging it.. your po4 is fine and acceptable, let it settle in and enjoy!

Edit,
Looking at your second picture there appears to be a Vermatid snail that will irritate the corals.. if you can pull the coral out and scrape that hard red tube off and it will recover just fine.

Yeah I grabbed him with tweezers. Sounds good I’ll let it be then!
