Question about moving from KZ

Good morning everyone,
My Local coral shop starts selling Modern Reef product. I am thinking about moving from the expansive method of KZ to Modern reef. But I don't know if i need to stop the zeolite reactor while i am changing the method.

I would contact modern reef directly. They are pretty smart down there. But if you are using the whole KZ system, they have a start guide for an established tank. Do that in reverse. Back out slowly.
