Question about MP10wes (I'm a new guy)

I found what I consider to be a good deal on an MP10wes ($65). I'm told it needs a new wet side because it's noisy. I know there is the upgrade option to use a qd driver. Is it worth buying factoring in another $100 or so for a new wet side and the upgrade driver? The nice thing about that is I can spread the cost out, or should I just save my money and buy a factory qd unit?

Wait and buy a new one or watch to see if a QD version becomes available for sale. As the owner of these you won’t regret it.

That's kind of what I was thinking. From what I've read when you do the upgrade it's basically a qd model, but I wasn't 100% sure about that.
