Question about my clown fish

So idk why but my clownfish looks like he's missing his front dorsal fin. I just noticed it!!

Hi, Looks like your clown didn't properly develop one, It is somewhat common in captive bred clowns these days.

could be an injury and it could heal back, or it could be a deformity associated with captive bred clowns

I think it's a deformity I just noticed it lol

Is your clownfish new to your tank? The fin might not be opened entirely because the fish is in distress.
Or the fish might really be lacking a fin.
