Question about my hammer

So I don’t have a before pic but I have a now pic.

where you see the mouths there use to only be one.
What type of hammer do I have is it a wall hammer?

it has an indentation at it base buts it’s not split in two.

It looks like it's in the process of splitting into two heads, means it's growing.
