Question about Pico set up for unhappy Zoas

I'm having some problems with my Zoas. I thought about getting a pico tank and moving all of them in there until I get things figured out. My questions are:

1. If I use water from the original tank and keep it bare bottom how much time would that cut off the cycling?

2. Would a pico tank have enough lighting to keep my Zoas happy? Well, they aren't really happy now but you know what I mean.

3. I think my main problem is nudibranches and their PITA eggs. I really want them all out of my main tank to treat them all at the same time. Some of the Zoas appear more effected than others but it's getting out of hand.

I have a 3 gallon pico tank with a 18 watt light and my zoas grow great in it. I don't have any sand in my pico either.

Will the live rock be from your other tank?

Make sure you treat them a couple of times to make sure you get all the nudis and egg sacks.

The live rock would definitely be from the main tank. If I add any other than what the Zoas are already on.

I would treat them several times for sure. I've heard Luggies (sp.) is good but willing to take any advice I can get.

How long of a cycle do you think I would have? (For the filters and stuff.)

I have some ricordia and acans in there and they are doing great. It's been up and running for 3 months with no problems.
