question about Piping pvc abs glueing?

so i got a tank off another reefer and he had some custom tubing done i wanted to change but couldnt find the right PVC fitting for this piece looks similar to this

so i took a pvc 3/4 pipe and put it inside the slip on side with PVC glue primed it with the purple stuff then used the orange stuff and put it inside it wasnt welding it right away took a good 10-20 minutes will this hold i heard its ABS which doesnt really bind to PVC any ideas?

There is a specific glue you can use for PVC to ABS...

yah i already glued it didnt think its ABS so either i have to order new bulk heads and redo the whole thing or test my luck and see if its hold lol
