Ok, we have noticed in the last few weeks a HUGE bloom in our pods (which we are super happy about). At the same time, we have noticed that if we turn down the power on our pump then turn it back up to full power there seems to be large (ish) chunks (?) coming out of the water spigot (not sure of the correct terminology??). Looking at them, we can clearly see small legs and the classic pod shaped body. I guess my question is, are the pods in my main pipes and breeding but then not surviving the trip? It's really bugging (no pun intended) the heck out of us, because we can turn the main pump off and on 20 times and still get the chunks out.
