Question about pods

Hey guys, just got some chateo. Stared a refugium in the back of my tank, want to add some pods. Saw online, posiedens feast. My tank is just over a month old, if I add pods to the chateo, and DT, will they survive? Anything special I should know, any downsides?

If the pods are alive then they should work. They are pretty hard to kill (until eaten of course).

If you bought some cheato more than likely your tank has copepods already. You can turn off the lights and you should see little tiny specks walking on the glass

Well I dipped my chateo in coral rx, so I killed a few of them unfortunately. Alright, so I don't need anything specific to keep them alive. What do they eat?

Detrius. They'll thrive off of just about anything from my experience. I took down a 10 gallon once upon a time and tossed it in a closet with a half inch of water and a bunch of crud in it. Came back a month later (I forgot about it, whoops) and there were soooo many pods!
