Hi! So a little while back I was encouraged to install a t-valve after my RO portion before the DI resin container and to use the valve so that I could "flush" the system for a few minutes before running water through the DI Resin and getting rid of the TDS creep. I am not saying I won't do that, but I was wondering if it was possible to save a few bucks and simply remove the tubing that enters the canister for a few minutes to rinse instead and then reinsert it into the fitting? Or is this rough on the tubing and will it make the fittings looser over time from pulling the tubes out, making them more prone to leaks? Thanks!

It might take 50 insertions to start leaking, it might take 500. It really depends on the quality of the fitting, whether the o-ring stays lubricated, and how cleanly you cut the tubing. I would imagine chamfering the tubing would also extend the life of the o-ring.

However you don't necessarily have to spend a lot to buy fittings- there are some decent sets on Amazon that give you multiple of each part (T, Y, coupler, valve, one-way) for the same price of one single fitting at Home Depot.
