So I've scoured the wide world of the interwebs and have not been able to find a conclusive answer to this question: are the red mangroves currently growing in my refugium safe for non-finned friends? I have a few cats that fancy a nibble on plants every so often and I cannot find any info out there stating whether or not the red mangrove is toxic to dogs/cats... I ask as i would love to eventually have them in my DT or out in the open, but not if they're poisonous. I've check the ASPCA website and Red Mangroves are not listed. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
