I bought a marine depot 4 stage ( 3 canisters and the ro membrane on top? ) Rodi a few years ago and then upgraded it with the brs upgrade kit which gave me a flush valve along with a tds monitor and a pressure gauge.

I then replaced my filters with a brs 4 stage setup which gave me everything except the ro membrane on top..

So now today I looked at my tds and it’s 2tds at the output so I want to replace all my filters

inside my marine depot it lists it as a 100 gpd membrane and I was wondering if I replaced that with say a larger membrane (150 gpd) or whatnot if that would still work in my system?

do I need to replace the flow restrictor whatever that is too? how can I choose which one to get that will fit my Rodi

I may be wrong here but I believe that the new membrane will work with your setup however you will need a new flow restrictor to produce the output capabilities of the membrane as long as you have the correct input pressure. Btw the flow restrictor is inline with the membrane. A small tube that goes inside of your 1/4” poly tube.
