I'm looking at upgrading my RO system to use a dual membrane setup to reduce wastewater, however I've noticed that a lot of the membranes have different outputs, ranging from anywhere from 150l/day to 500+l/day as I'm sure most of you know. I have a couple of questions about this.
Is a membrane with a higher rating going to be physically larger and require a different housing?
How does a membrane achieve a higher output if it's the same size as one with lower output? Does it output water with more TDS?
If you are using a dual membrane system should they match each other's output?
