I have a 20 gallon tank that about 24/14/14 inches. I watched the BRS investigates that talks about proper mounting height and settings. For lps they recommend the spectrum to be set at the following for 9 hours a day:
Uv:88%
Violet:88%
Royal blue:96%
Blue:96%
Green:8%
Red:8%
Cool white:48%

my main concern is that they didn’t specify if these are the settings during the entire photo period. I’ve noticed some people only have tge whites on for half the photo period. But if I were to just use tge above mentioned settings during the whole photo period would that be ok for the corals or would it be bad for them. Ive just heard that white can have high par and be hard on corals. Thanks to anyone who can clarify tgis for me. At the moment i have no corals in the aquarium just trying to get coraline algea to start to grow so I know its ready.

start with these numbers but out your 32 in acclimation mode to slowly build them up to the intensity. if you see bleaching or stunted growth(or other stable parameters) then tweak the settings to your liking

i run two 32HD with a reefbrite kit each. but originally i only had one 32HD and reefbrite kit on a 50B and had decent growth. once i added the second things picked up way more. since i’ve started my tank this is what i’ve been running on my settings. i started with LPS then softies then SPS

edit: those settings are fine but what is the mounting height?

The tank is 14 inches tall and i have the light 13.5 inches above the water level. Also you mentioned using acclimate mode. What about in the future when i add more corals over time. Would i need to put tge light in acclimate mode each time i add new coral to the tank?

you start them low, perhaps on the sand and gradually place them higher to get used to the light. usually the areas around the glass(the outer edges of the tank) has the least amount of light

So the white is just all the spectrums combined. aka white light. You can adjust this to however you enjoy viewing your tank at. Keep in mind however its adding all those spectrums (green and red included) which may encourage some algae, etc. I've got the Prime 16 and have all the blues up but the white maxes right now at like 28 and then I have the white ramp up then down a bit then up then down a few times during the day. I've also been slowly increasing the white until I get it more to where I want it hopefully without algae blooms... so far so good lol
