Question about SilicaBuster High-Capacity DI Cartridges

I have a 5 stage now and do I really need this cartridge in the system, or would just the DI Resin be ok..

I'm also curious. One of the filter sets they sell has the maxcap di followed by the silica buster. AZ's posted on this topic before, says he swears by the maxcap if I recall correctly.
