I finally got around to staining a sliding barn door that I installed (minwax oil based stain.) I removed the door and stained it outside and let it air dry outside for over 24 hours before bringing it inside. I heard stains/paints can cause issue with our tanks so I was wondering if the faint smell left on the door will be an issue and if I would be safe in staining the wooden board holding the hardware while it’s on the wall (it’s permanently attached.) The tank is really close..... pictures for reference.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Open a window in the room with a fan drawing the air out. You could also run carbon as well to be cautious.

Depending on the wood finish (type not color) you should be okay.
I'd open any and all windows to get some fresh air. A fan pointing away from the tank wouldn't hurt either
